It’s takes bravery, courage and a lot of grit to become an Elite BMX rider. Molly Simpson is the epitome of these 3 things. I met Molly when she was 15 years old and from the beginning I couldn’t believe her drive and dedication to being one of the best on the planet. She knows what she wants and she works every single day to reach it. I’m always impressed by her discipline and search for “Better” every single time she rides. A Coaches dream!

I have always been impressed at Molly’s ambition to strive to succeed and reach her goals year after year. Her calm, cool and collected disposition has advanced her to the highest level of competition the sport of BMX offers, where she is quickly making a name for herself as one of the most watched up and coming BMX athletes of our time not only in North America but on the World stage. Male or Female.

Molly’s tenacity is awe inspiring, I have been fortunate enough to watch this young lady over the last decade from stands all over the World show every athlete of all ages, and parents/adults alike what hard work, perseverance, sacrifice and determination can do.

Molly has quickly become a leader amongst fellow athletes all over the World of all ages, but also incredibly well respected amongst the Parents, Officials , and all Associations affiliated with our sport. Molly is always giving back, investing in something that you can not put monetary value on - our youth. Her constant volunteering and coaching at not only her home track but any track that is fortunate enough to have her train on has been exemplarily. Kids of all ages swarm to her generous and kind nature, we have a superstar on our hands.

There is not a doubt in my mind our entire country will soon know this amazing young athletes name, and will be celebrating along with her as she strives towards becoming an Olympic and World Champion.

Molly became for us so much more than an athlete to look up to.  Our daughter is a BMX racer and when she broke her leg she was crushed and demoralized.  It was very hard for her to see passed the long climb of recovery and regaining proper muscle function again let alone riding her race speed again.  Molly was instrumental in connecting with Kate and not only maintaining that love for BMX, but also helping her to train and regain her strength and skills.  Molly was there when Kate was in a cast and she was there cheering when Kate won her N2 plate.

We couldn’t ask for a better support and role model for our young BMX racer.
